Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of English Grammar Teacher ("the app", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Apple Standard EULA

Your license to use English Grammar Teacher is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA").

These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA and explain additional conditions relating to the app's educational features, subscriptions, content, and services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use English Grammar Teacher independently. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

A parent or legal guardian who allows a minor to use the app is responsible for supervising that use and for any subscription purchased through their Apple Account.

Educational Purpose

English Grammar Teacher is provided for educational and personal learning purposes.

The app may estimate your grammar level and recommend lessons or reviews based on your answers and learning history. These estimates and recommendations may not perfectly reflect your complete English ability.

The app does not provide:

• Official CEFR certification
• Official IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, or other exam scores
• A guarantee of examination results or language improvement
• Professional academic, immigration, employment, or legal advice

English Grammar Teacher is not affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge Assessment English, or another examination provider.

Use of the App

You may use English Grammar Teacher only for lawful, personal, and educational purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, or publicly publish substantial portions of the app's lessons, questions, explanations, illustrations, or other content
• Use automated systems to extract, scrape, or reproduce app content
• Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions or access paid features without authorization
• Reverse engineer, modify, interfere with, or disrupt the app except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use the app in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of another person
• Misrepresent app results as an official certificate, qualification, or examination score

Learning Content and Results

We work to provide useful and accurate grammar explanations, questions, answers, and feedback. However, language use may vary by context, register, region, and accepted style.

We do not guarantee that every explanation, answer, level estimate, recommendation, or exercise will be complete, error-free, or suitable for every learning purpose.

If you believe content is incorrect or unclear, please contact support and include the relevant lesson, grammar topic, question, and screenshot where possible.

Subscriptions

Some English Grammar Teacher features require an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Available subscription options may include:

• Monthly subscription: billed monthly at the price displayed before purchase
• Yearly subscription: billed annually at the price displayed before purchase

Both plans unlock the same premium learning features for their respective subscription periods.

Prices may vary by country or region and may include applicable taxes. The App Store purchase confirmation screen displays the applicable price and billing period before you confirm a purchase.

Free Trials

The yearly subscription may include a seven-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

Trial eligibility is determined by Apple. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid yearly subscription at the price shown when you started the trial.

Apple may limit introductory-offer eligibility based on your previous subscriptions or offers within the same subscription group.

Billing and Automatic Renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase or, where applicable, when a free trial converts to a paid subscription.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same subscription period unless canceled through your Apple Account before renewal in accordance with Apple's applicable subscription terms.

You can view, manage, change, or cancel your subscription through your Apple subscription settings.

Deleting English Grammar Teacher does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Restoring Purchases

You may restore an eligible subscription using the Restore Purchases option inside the app. You must be signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Subscription availability and entitlement information are determined using information provided by Apple.

Refunds and Billing Issues

Apple processes subscription payments and makes refund decisions according to its policies and applicable law.

To report an Apple billing problem or request a refund, visit Report a Problem.

For problems restoring premium access inside the app, contact English Grammar Teacher support.

Subscription and Feature Changes

We may change subscription prices, available plans, premium features, or free features over time. Any subscription price change will be handled through Apple's systems and subject to Apple's notice and consent requirements where applicable.

Changes will not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection laws.

Local Data and iCloud

The app stores learning information such as assessment answers, estimated level, lesson progress, review history, and preferences on your device.

If iCloud sync is available and enabled, supported information may be stored in your private iCloud account and synchronized between compatible devices.

Syncing depends on factors outside our control, including your Apple Account, device settings, internet connection, available iCloud storage, and Apple's service availability.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate access to your Apple Account and device. We cannot guarantee that learning data will never be delayed, duplicated, lost, or unavailable.

Notifications

The app may offer optional local notifications for learning reminders and scheduled reviews.

You can manage notification permissions through iOS Settings. Notifications are provided as a convenience, and we do not guarantee that every reminder will be delivered at a specific time.

Availability and Updates

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of English Grammar Teacher, including lessons, exercises, evaluations, learning recommendations, and other features.

We do not guarantee that the app or every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, compatible with every device, or free from errors.

Some features may require a supported device, compatible operating system, internet connection, iCloud availability, or current version of the app.

Intellectual Property

English Grammar Teacher and its original software, branding, design, lessons, exercises, questions, explanations, illustrations, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access premium features during an active subscription period. It does not transfer ownership of the app or its content to you.

Third-Party Services

The app may rely on Apple services such as the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, CloudKit, and notification services.

Your use of Apple services is subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies. We are not responsible for interruptions, restrictions, or decisions made by third-party service providers.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, English Grammar Teacher is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, permanent preservation of progress, a particular learning outcome, or success in any examination.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, opportunity, profits, or business arising from your use of or inability to use English Grammar Teacher.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid through the app during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Suspension and Termination

Your right to use the app may end if you materially violate these Terms or the Apple Standard EULA.

We may also discontinue distribution, support, or particular features of the app. Ending use of the app does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription.

Governing Terms and Consumer Rights

The Apple Standard EULA contains provisions concerning applicable law and jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available in your country or region continue to apply.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.

Your continued use of the app after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
