SongClip uses server-side AI generation to create songs from prompts and optional video clips from selected song excerpts. Generation time can vary depending on demand, infrastructure availability, input length, and input quality.

Common Issues

Generation is taking a long time

Generation runs on remote servers, so processing time can vary. Song generation and video generation have different processing times. You can check the current status in the app's projects or history screen.

Generation failed

Failed generations may be refunded as credits based on service outcome and app logic. If your credit balance does not update correctly, contact support.

Song result does not match my prompt

For better results, use a clear song description, choose a focused style, and add lyrics when you want more control over vocals. Very broad or conflicting prompts may produce less predictable results.

I cannot create a video clip

Video generation requires a completed song, a selected song excerpt, and an image for the video step. Make sure the song has finished processing and any required media permissions are enabled.

I cannot upload an image

Make sure SongClip has access to your camera or photo library in iOS Settings. If permission was denied earlier, you may need to re-enable it manually.

Purchases and Credits

SongClip sells consumable credits for AI song and video generation through Apple In-App Purchase.

If you were charged by Apple and have a billing issue, you can contact Apple through Report a Problem.

If the issue is a credit balance mismatch inside the app, contact SongClip support using the email above.

Projects, History, and Deletion

SongClip includes project and history views for generated songs and video clips. In-app deletion may be available for generation-related content.

If you deleted content in the app and still need help, contact support with enough detail for us to investigate.

Push Notification Help

Not receiving notifications?

You can still view generation status in your projects or history even if notifications are disabled.
