These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of SongClip ("the app", "we", "us"). By using SongClip, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SongClip. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Use of the App

You may use SongClip only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

• Use only prompts, lyrics, images, and other content you own or have permission to use
• Do not infringe copyrights, trademark rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, music rights, or other rights
• Do not use the app to create unlawful, abusive, misleading, deceptive, or harmful content
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or abuse the app or its services

User Content and Permissions

You are responsible for the prompts, lyrics, images, song concepts, uploaded content, selected excerpts, and any other content you provide, as well as your use of generated outputs.

By submitting content for generation, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content and to request processing.

You grant us and our service providers a limited license to host, transmit, process, store, and use your submitted content solely to operate the app, generate and deliver your requested results, maintain projects or generation history, investigate failures, and provide support.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use SongClip to upload, generate, or share content that:

• Violates any law or regulation
• Exploits, sexualizes, or harms minors
• Contains non-consensual intimate, explicit, or sexualized content
• Infringes intellectual property, including copyrighted songs, lyrics, recordings, characters, brands, voices, or protected material in a way that violates rights
• Impersonates another person, artist, public figure, or private individual in a misleading, defamatory, or harmful way
• Uses another person's voice, likeness, name, or identity without permission where permission is required
• Promotes violence, harassment, hate, self-harm, fraud, or illegal activity

We may remove content, limit features, suspend credits, or restrict access to the app if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated.

AI Generation and Results

SongClip uses AI and remote processing to generate songs and video clips. Results may vary and may not always match your prompt, lyrics, selected style, uploaded image, selected audio excerpt, or expectations.

Generation times are estimates only and may vary based on demand, infrastructure availability, moderation, input length, input quality, and provider availability.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect output quality, successful generation for every request, commercial suitability, or that generated outputs will be unique.

Generated Music, Lyrics, and Video

You are responsible for reviewing generated songs, lyrics, audio, images, and video clips before using or sharing them.

AI-generated outputs may be similar to existing content, may contain unexpected artifacts, and may require additional rights clearance depending on how you use them.

SongClip does not provide legal advice about ownership, copyright, music publishing, public performance, distribution, monetization, or commercial use of generated outputs.

Generation History and Deletion

SongClip may retain generation-related media and records for a limited period to support result delivery, projects, history, reliability, and app functionality.

You may have access to in-app deletion controls for generated songs, video clips, or related project records.

Deletion timing may vary due to backups, operational delays, support needs, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or technical constraints.

Consumable Credits and Payments

SongClip uses consumable credits for AI song and video generation. Credit prices, package sizes, and generation costs may change over time.

Song generation currently costs 10 credits, and video generation currently costs 30 credits. These costs may change before future purchases or uses.

Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms and policies.

Credits are consumable and generally non-restorable after use. Failed generations may be refunded as credits according to app logic and service outcome.

We may change the credit cost of generation options or app features at any time before purchase or use.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of the app at any time, including generation settings, pricing, feature availability, output styles, supported durations, video features, and processing limits.

Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, branding, software, interface, and underlying systems, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law.

Except for your rights in your own submitted content and any rights you may have in generated outputs under applicable law, these Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property to you.

Third-Party Services

SongClip relies on third-party services, including cloud infrastructure, storage, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, authentication, AI generation providers, and App Store billing. We are not responsible for outages, delays, moderation decisions, or failures caused by third-party providers.

Disclaimers

SongClip is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We disclaim warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or produce any particular result.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, content, generated outputs, or opportunities arising from your use of SongClip.

Our total liability for any claim relating to SongClip will not exceed the amount you paid to us through the app in the 12 months before the claim, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create prohibited content, abuse credits or payment systems, or create risk for users, rights holders, service providers, or the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.
